Interior

What is it like on the inside?

Each Solus GT owner will have a seat fitting at the factory and the car will literally be moulded to their backside. So, it should be pretty snug. Even jumping in somebody else’s car. the experience is fantastic. You sit low and reclined, the pedal box is adjustable and the canopy provides a completely panoramic view. There is a kind of halo structure but you truly don’t notice it and the digital rear view mirror positioned at the top of it works brilliantly.

Ahead, the steering wheel - modelled from Lando’s own in F1 - is a gorgeous little sculpture and looks properly racecar but with high-end detailing you’d expect for the monster price.

On the move the drama ramps-up still further as you can use the front wheel covers as reference points to position the car. It all feels vaguely heroic and there’s so much feel good factor. The Solus allows you to live out those F1/Le Mans fantasies in pretty convincing fashion.
