Buying
What should I be paying?
As discussed at the start, you expect a Maserati to be expensive. The Levante isn’t cheap but even the flagship Levante S at £72,525 doesn’t look too toppy when a 440bhp Cayenne S is £68,330, once you’ve factored in exclusivity.
The things you will need to think about are fuel economy (21mpg is going to mean £100 fill-ups every 350 miles) and road tax (273g/km of CO2 puts the Levante S in the top bracket with first year tax of £2,070).
Concerned about reliability and longevity? If there are horror stories out there now it’s been on sale for two years we haven’t heard them. At a more superficial level this feels like a well made and well developed product.
