Buying

What should I be paying?

The Jaguar XE has been precision-tooled to work as a company car and C-Class, A4 and 3-Series annhilator. So the entry-level 161bhp 2.0-litre diesel (£29,775) emits just 99g/km (for that, it even gets free VED road tax), and Jaguar claims 75mpg overall. The model above manages 109g/km, and a claimed 67.3mpg overall. There’s also a 21,000 mile or two-year service interval. Various petrol units are also available, and Jaguar’s honed its trim lines so they make sense to users trained on SE and Sport options: there’s an SE. There’s an R-Sport. There’s that low CO2 diesel. Jaguar delivers.
