Jaguar F-Pace SVR review
Buying
What should I be paying?
Just as the F-Pace occupies an in-between size slot, so it is for price. The £77,595 ask is well below those full-size nutter-SUVs from Porsche, AMG and M. In fact it's cheaper than the smaller BMW X3M, if a bit more than a Stelvio Qf.
Most of the gear you'd want is included, including driver assistance. You might spring for pixel headlights, and the HUD, both of which you can have as individual options rather than in packs bundled with stuff you don't want.
Use the SVR as it invites and you'll be hosing in the fuel. We saw 16mpg on some nice empty B-roads. But on calmer A-road driving the official 23.1mpg might just come into view. The CO2 number is 275g/km, which is hardly tax-friendly.
It can tow 2,400kg. Try that with your 550bhp sports car.
Warranty is three years unlimited miles.
