Interior
What is it like on the inside?
It seems Ford blew the budget on perfecting the chassis and powertrain (which, for the record, we very much approve of) because the interior is surprisingly close to standard. The optional bucket seats look fantastic and are comfy enough for longer road trips but are fixed a smidgen too high, and the bank of gauges is a nice touch, albeit nothing extra over an ST.
Beyond that, anyone familiar with the cooking-grade car will be right at home. This, and the fact that the exterior is toned down from its predecessor (and the blue leather-lined original), means the RS has definitely lost some of its inner-Essex boy pizzazz in its transition to a global car.
