What is it like on the inside?

Nothing much to report here. If you’ve seen an SRT Charger before, you will know your way around these ones blindfolded. There are the four, crazily comfortable – heated and cooled in the front – seats. Tons of head and legroom for everyone front and back.

The dash is the same as it’s been for a while now save for a few small cosmetic upgrades. But there is nothing wrong with that. It worked when it was new and it still works great now. So no problem. The one key update is the addition of electric power steering as standard, complete with selectable steering weight in the Performance Pages.

There are few new buttons to press, too. Four new race-inspired technologies join the Charger’s arsenal in 2020. Race Cooldown keeps the supercharger cooling even after the engine is shut off.  Line lock will allow you to fry the rear tyres at the press of a switch. Launch Control and Launch Assist work in tandem to reduce wheel hop and tyre slip to give you the fastest, cleanest getaway.
