What should I be paying?
Prices kick off at £135,000 for a RWD, and leap to beyond £155,000 for a soft-top R8 with quattro AWD. Honestly, for a supercar this thing is a bit of a bargain. The average person on the street would never know this costs literally half as much as a McLaren 765LT Spider. Especially when they hear it.
If you think those prices look intense then consider this is really plush, a proper GT-ish supercar. The standard seven-speed paddleshifter is superb and makes long distance cruising easier than you might imagine. Then again, with economy rarely over 22mpg you’ll not be covering continents in a single bound.
Shame the front luggage compartment is small, and its 112 litres inconveniently shaped; the 2+2 Porsche 911 Turbo cabrio is so much more practical. But it doesn’t wail like an R8…
