Aston Martin Vanquish S review
Buying
What should I be paying?
Owning a 600bhp Super GT is never going to be a cheap as a 1.2 Polo, but it should be more affordable to run than that private jet. Aston claims economy of 21.6mpg and 302g/km of CO2, which is achievable so long as you drive everywhere at 50mph on quarter throttle. In reality, expect worse that that.
It's worth comparing those figures to the DB11 though, which is ever-so greener at 24mpg and 270g/km. But don't be fooled, both will guzzle premium unleaded at an alarming rate. But you didn't buy a Vanquish S to reduce your monthly outgoings, did you? So get out there, make some noise and enjoy it. You own an Aston Martin. You've made it.
