Buying
What should I be paying?
Prices begin at £199,950, but seeing a DB12 that costs less than a quarter of a million quid will be as common as a Five Guys burger without any toppings. Deliveries begin in the final quarter of 2024.
There’s now a full suite of driver assistance/annoyance systems, including adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, traffic sign reading, blind spot monitoring and an alert to stop you opening the elegant upwards-opening door if a cyclist is approaching. The 360-camera and standard sensors are useful given rear visibility with the hood up is worse than that of a nuclear submarine.
On a relaxed motorway cruise we saw an indicated 28mpg, with a realistic average of 23-25mpg doable on a whole tank. Obviously this collapses towards single figures if you’re really opening the V8 up, but with a 78 litre tank you’ll manage around 400 miles between trips to the super-unleaded pump.
