You need this glorious custom BMW motorcycle

A bespoke café racer from Diamond Atelier has us raiding the piggy bank

We don’t venture into the two-wheeled world of travel very often here at TG, but this is worth a mention.

The Munich-based firm has taken a two-valve Monolever (produced between 1984 to 1995) and given it an exquisite overhaul into an aggressive, road-slung café racer that makes us sweat beads of want.

It’s been designed with the help of BMW’s two-wheeled doodlesmith Julian Weber and is available in three different specs depending on how much money you want to spend.

Stage one offers a slightly modified 41mm BMW fork, with refurbished original rear shocks, powder coated original wheels, street tyres and 285mm BMW brake discs. The second option adds new wheels and semi-slick tyres. The third stage features a Supersport upside-down fork, CNC-machined triple clamps, Wilbers rear shocks and 320mm aftermarket brake discs.

Still, doesn’t it look timelessly cool? You know you want to...
