    Bulova is an American company, now owned by the Japanese giant Citizen, that has a history of pioneering battery powered watches. A Bulova was also worn on the moon on the 1971 Apollo 15 mission. The Jet Star pays visual tribute to a watch of the same name from the Seventies and is powered by Bulova’s 8-jewel Precisionist quartz movement, vibrating at 262kHz for a barely perceptible 16 ticks per seconds.
