Rolex Sky-Dweller
According to a recent study by the luxury dealer Watchfinder, wannabe Rolexes count for over half of all posh fakes. Switzerland’s finest does not take this sincere form of flattery lying down, and offers official certification on preowned as well as new watches. Fake Rolexes range from quartz-powered tat to well made doppelgängers.
If you want to be sure your Rolex is bona fide, head to your nearest authorised dealer and join the queue. The Sky-Dweller has an automatic movement in a 42mm case that comes in a variety of metals, all of them at least partially precious. This new mint-green dial model has a steel and white gold case. It’s also water resistant to 100m.
