Feast your eyes on the only time Bugatti's 'World Record' cars have come together

Behold: the Bugatti Veyron. And another one. And a Chiron. And a stunning Mistral. As four car garages go, this is... yeah, improbable.

And improbably fast. This orange and black quartet make up Bugatti’s top speed ‘World Record’ cars, and this is the only time all four very busy little bees have been brought together.

Such a public gathering will only happen in the future at the behest of this Mistral’s owner, too. While there are multiples of the (deep breath) Veyron 16.4 Super Sport World Record Edition, Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Edition and Chiron Super Sport 300+ – and said owner has one of each – there is only one W16 Mistral World Record Car.

So, with this specially commissioned one-of-one Mistral still warm from its 282mph top-speed world record run earlier that day, we grabbed Bugatti’s design boss Frank Heyl for this once-in-a-lifetime walkaround.
