Video: Mazda2 drives on wall of death
All in all, the Mazda2's not half bad. It's reasonably priced. The iPod lead's really easy to find. Oh, and it appears to be able to DRIVE ON WALLS.
Yep - walls. Big scary vertical ones. Specifically, the Demon Drome's cheerily-named wall of death.
Given the upload date to youtube of 30 March, we initially and understandably assumed this video was an April Fool's joke. But it's not. The Mazda2 in question required some pimpwork before its Parkour debut, including lifted and stiffened suspension, airbag removal, kill switch fitment, raised tyre pressures and the installation of Dynomyte Dave Seymour as driver (no, really).
The latter owns the Demon Drome and pedaled it for six laps at speeds of up to 30mph, pulling two-and-a-half g in the process.
Anyone else feel a bit sick?
