There’s already a GR Corolla drift car competing in the US
Drift king Ryan Tuerck is already racking up Formula DRIFT PRO wins in his new hot hatch
Remember the name Ryan Tuerck? Of course you do. He’s the handy drift chap behind the Ferrari 458-engined Toyota GT86 and this Judd V10-engined Toyota Supra. The man likes his Toyotas, but has a particular hatred for rear tyres it would seem.
And now he’s got another Toyota in the garage, although this one is a brand new GR Corolla hot hatch. Nice. From the pic above though, it doesn’t exactly look like Tuerck’s Corolla is in standard 300bhp, all-wheel drive spec. In fact, the New Hampshire-born drifter has already used the car to compete in the opening round of the 2022 Formula DRIFT PRO Championship in Long Beach.
Quick work given that the car was only unveiled to the public last Friday. Oh, and the best bit? Tuerck picked up the win on the Corolla’s debut. Of course.
