Mustang website news - Stang countdown - 2008

It's Ford's teaser site for the 2010 Mustang, and features a countdown to the car's unveiling.

Which is in precisely 77 days time, apparently - when the website will feature lots of pretty pictures of Detroit's latest 'Stang.

Which is excellent news for muscle car fans. And it's got us a little excited. We loved our long-term Shelby GT500, see - partly 'cos it was just a bit mad on UK roads, and partly 'cos it was a proper, snarly beast of a thing.

And we're hoping the new car will be just as cool. Shame it's still a couple of years away, or even longer if you want one in the UK.

So, Ford, here's a message from Top Gear: Stop teasing and just give us the damn car already.
