Here’s your first look at the facelifted US-spec Honda Civic
American Honda announces ‘styling and feature enhancements’ for the 2025 model year Civic
The current generation Honda Civic hasn’t actually been around that long. Heck, it didn’t arrive in Europe until late in 2022. However, it did launch in the US in June 2021, so that’s where it’s set to be facelifted first.
The two images above offer our first glimpse at said facelift, and if we’re honest it looks really rather nice indeed. We’d expect the Euro-spec hatch to follow suit in the near future too, so we’re pleasantly surprised with the updates.
In a release that previewed American Honda’s plans for 2024, the company said that the Civic would get "styling and feature enhancements" for the 2025 model year, and that a hybrid powertrain would return to the US lineup in both hatchback and sedan forms.
The most obvious styling change is up front, with a sharper new front bumper and extra air intakes making the Civic look a little lower and wider. There are diamond-cut alloy wheels too, plus redesigned rear lights to complete the standard facelift checklist.
A good update to what was already a reasonably handsome car?
