Gallery: our most ambitious shoot yet?

  • Keen Twitterers may well have noticed an enigmatic message from Jeremy early on Sunday morning. "People of London," it read, "if you come to the Mall, you may be a bit amazed to see what's happening here".

    Many UK-based Top Gear fans did just that. The Mall, not unusually, was jammed with non-moving traffic. But in this case, it was over £200 million worth of British cars ...

    We don't really like spoiling the surprise, so we're saying nothing more. Except the new series (number 20, no less) starts this Sunday, 8pm, BBC Two and BBC Two HD in the UK. See you then.
