New Top Gear magazine: Jaguar hypercar world exclusive! Free James May book!

Published: 19 Jun 2013

At Top Gear magazine, we love to bring stories that push the boundaries and leave you speechless, and this issue does that perfectly.

We have a world exclusive drive in Jaguar's incredible hybrid hypercar, the C-X75. We help out the Heathrow ground safety crew for a day - in a Lamborghini Aventador, naturally. We go on tour in Italy with 13 Paganis, drive the insane Fiat Panda 4x4 monster truck and meet the pilot trying to crack 1,000mph in the Bloodhound.

Plus, this month, we give you an exclusive preview of what the boys are up to in the new series of Top Gear telly.

FREE JAMES MAY CAR FEVER BOOK

Not only will you be able to read these incredible stories, you'll also be able to lose yourself in the fantastic Car Fever by James May, completely free with this month's issue. Read James's hilarious and controversial opinions on... just about everything. From his first love of cars to political correctness, rules and regulations of life, the combustion engine... and, of course, traffic wardens. Get your free book only with this month's TopGear magazine.

JAGUAR C-X75 HYPERCAR

The Jaguar hybrid hypercar was meant to crush the Porsche 918, McLaren P1 and LaFerrari. Sadly, Jag put it on ice. But not before we got a drive... Read what happens when we took the 900bhp, 600V beauty - well, perhaps make that beast - for a 184mph drive on the TG track.

TG TELLY IS BACK

Find out what Jeremy, James and Richard are up to in the new series of TG telly in our exclusive preview. Expect the usual mix of incredible supercars, hot reviews, exciting stunts and ambitious (not rubbish) adventures from around the world.

Series 20 starts on BBC2 on Sunday 30 June.

RANGE ROVER SPORT

We take a box-fresh Range Rover Sport - the 510bhp supercharged V8 version, of course - from deepest Germany to wildest Scotland on a mission to be the fastest delivery van in the world. Our package? A metre-wide aluminium wheel for the Bloodhound project, and one that needs urgent delivery. Best get a wiggle on.

AVENTADOR vs JUMBO

When Heathrow asked if we wanted to come and help the airside safety crew for a day, we thought it was only right to turn up in a Lamborghini Aventador to lend a hand. Safety has never been so appealing...

THE PAGANI FAMILY

We go on tour with Horacio Pagani and his sons, friends and customers for a homecoming tour through Tuscany in 13 incredible Paganis, including the original C12, the F, the very rare Cinque Roadster and the one-off HH.

GIANT PANDA

The Panda 4x4 was our SUV of the year in 2012, But someone obviously thought it might not be quite 4WD enough. We meet the rarest Panda in the world...

BLOODHOUND

We visit the German engineers responsible for making a wheel that can handle travelling at 1,000mph. And the man - sorry, pilot - who will drive it. Technology reaches new heights for the Bloodhound project.

REVIEWS

We've still managed to pack in loads of great new car reviews this month: Lexus IS300h F-Sport, Maserati Quattroporte S, Aston Martin 2+2 Bertone, Citroen C4 Picasso, Mercedes E-Class Cabrio, Bentley Flying Spur, Maserati GT MC Stradale, Skoda Octavia, Fiat 500e, Mercedes SL65 AMG and Vauxhall VXR8 Tourer.

Get all of this, plus the usual opinions and thoughts from Clarkson, Hammond and May.

The August issue of Top Gear is on sale now.
