Gallery: Top Gear Festival in Durban, South Africa

  • The Top Gear Live World tour stopped off in South Africa this weekend where Jeremy, Richard and James kicked off the latest leg in front of a sell-out 15,000 crowd in Durban (in one of the World Cup 2010 stadia, no less).

The star-studded Top Gear Festival at the Moses Mabhida Stadium did, of course, feature a Top Gear stunt show fronted by the boys, but that was only part of the story...

This time there was more. Much more. For example, we broke a world record, as eagle-eyed TopGear.commers will already know. Watch the video of that stunt here, and click on for more pictures from the event.

And thank you Durban. You were a wonderful crowd!

  • James has, of course, done this properly and brought on a 458, Jeremy plumped for an Aston DBS and Hammond had an orange Porsche GT3 RS with orange wheels - need we say more?

  • This year's Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 car, piloted by test driver Sam Bird blew everyone away. What a noise...
