Photo of the day: this is a Porsche Carrera GT in a canyon
It's a terrifying V10 hypercar, looking pretty at dusk. What more do you need to know?
Driving into the middle of nowhere, with no particular reason for doing so, is always fun. Doing so with a 604bhp V10 engine to propel you only increases said fun exponentially.
Boys and girls, we give you the Carrera GT - Porsche's 2004 precursor to the 918 Spyder - here looking thoughtfully into a canyon at dusk. It may be the Grand Canyon. Certainly it looks quite grand.
Lord only knows the sound the Carrera GT made as the noise of its ten cylinders ricocheted off the rocks on the way there, or what percentage of its 206mph was reached on the doubtless empty approach roads.
All we know is, we wish we'd been the ones to transport it to its pictured resting spot...
