The McLaren 720S Spider configurator is here

We love a good configurator at Top Gear, and McLaren’s is a doozy. Plenty of bright colours to choose between, a decent selection of wheel designs, and more pieces of carbon fibre jigsaw than a Formula One jumble sale. Would you like your mirror stalks in carbon? Or your windscreen pillars? Or your air vents, perhaps? The McLaren visualiser will cater for all of those needs.

It’ll also not, no matter how loudly you berate your screen, offer you the price running total. So, how far beyond the £237,000 starting price of the new McLaren 720S Spider it’s possible to soar isn’t yet clear. Carbon fibre splitters don’t come cheap, though…
