This is the last ever Bugatti Divo
Number 40 of 40 has been delivered to its patient new owner
Some things are just worth waiting for, aren’t they? We’d argue that the Bugatti Divo is probably one of those things…
Bugatti first unveiled the Divo to a select group of Chiron customers way back in spring 2018, and all 40 examples had already sold before it was revealed to the public at the Concours d’Elegance in Pebble Beach in 2018.
Three years later, the final example has now been delivered. That is some patience after putting €5m down before taxes. At least they got a Chiron in that time to soften the blow, ey?
What a lovely spec this final Divo is in too. That bright blue is actually the very same colour that was used on Bugatti’s last official Le Mans factory race car – the EB110 LM – whilst the darker sections of the Divo's frankly ridiculous bodywork are dressed in dark blue carbon fibre. Gold wheels and the French Tricolore finish off the EB110 LM-look. Glorious.
What do we reckon, folks? Think the new owner is excited for their coachbuilt, 8.0-litre quad-turbo W16 hypercar with its 1,479bhp? Maybe just a little…
