Hennessey’s Venom F5 configurator is here with up to half a million combinations

Wondering how you’d spec your Venom F5? Wonder no more, because Hennessey has now created what it’s calling the “most photo-realistic configurator” around, and it’s just gone live at this link. We’ve had a play, and it’s jolly good.

You start by choosing your base model: Coupe, Roadster, Revolution Coupe, Revolution Roadster or F5M Roadster. Then it's a choice of nine body, eight interior and five brake caliper colours. There’s a few options for liveries too, ranging from a pair of bonnet stripes to wheel arch decor, plus three alloy designs.

After cycling through the possible 500,000 combinations, your finished product is then showcased at the Pennzoil Proving Ground in sunny Texas. And in case you thought 500,000 isn’t enough, Hennessey has confirmed the configurator will get ongoing updates, bringing new colours and options over time.

We went for a Revolution Roadster with a double dose of purple colouring, black seven-spokes and white stoppers. And if, like us, you have a bit of trouble finding how to flick through different images, there’s a small bar for that at the bottom of the screen.

Hennessey will hand out a bunch of rewards for the most creatively specced cars, ranging from F5-themed merch to a full factory experience as the headliner.
