Good news: more Honda NSXs are coming to the UK
Another 50 NSXs come to Britain, after the first batch sells out
People of Britain who don’t already own a Honda NSX but quite want one: we have excellent and fortuitous news. Another 50 are bound for the UK, after the first 100 sold out in just 12 months. Deliveries of this next batch are set to begin mid-2018, so a wait of a year or so is on the cards assuming you order immediately. Which you should.
For all is flaws, we really like the NSX – we applaud people who eschew Ferraris, Lambos, Porsches, Audis and Mercs and instead elect to spend £150,000 of their no-doubt hard-earned cash on a Honda. A very clever, very fast Honda, admittedly. The NSX is built in Ohio (and sold as an Acura in the States) by a team of 100 specialists. Its 3.5-litre V6 and electric motors gives 573bhp, 191mph and 0-62mph in less than three seconds.
Potential owner? Our UK drive of the Honda NSX is here. You can see how it compares with the original NSX right here. We also gave one to Chris Harris, who pitched Honda’s hybrid against its two biggest competitors, the Porsche 911 Turbo and Audi R8 V10 Plus. The Chris Harris Drives video is here.
