Go configure your ideal Porsche Panamera right now
Goodbye productivity: Porsche has launched the configurator for its new Panamera
If this is the last story we post today, it's because we've been sidetracked by Porsche's rather excellent online configurator, which has just got a whole lot more interesting thanks to the addition of the new Panamera.
Yep, the configurator is up already, just days after the car’s official reveal. Turbo, 4S and 4S Diesel variants are available for specifying with predictably pricey options, like the £2,352 adaptive sport seats or £4,899 Burmester stereo.
Ours would be a Turbo – obviously – at £113,075. To it we’d add 21s, Sport Chrono, the sports exhaust and perhaps the carbon ceramic brakes, if we were feeling especially minted. Actual money would be better spent on a £91,788 4S Diesel, we suspect.
In any case, avoid the speed-sensitive power steering. We haven’t driven the new Panamera yet, but we make a habit of avoiding such options (see the Audi R8 V10 Plus we've just added to the TG garage).
