Remember the Murcie SV? Of course you do. It was the most hardcore of all the Murcielagos, a last hurrah before it was replaced by the Aventador. A trawl through the TG archives uncovered these pics, of the time we took one to a very sandy desert. Click through for your daily dosage of mid-engined Italian excellence.

The mid-mounted V12 gave 661bhp and 487lb ft. Lambo claimed 0-62mph in 3.2 seconds.
Price? When new it was £220K or thereabouts in the UK. Seems like good value - a new Aventador is loads more.
This one has paddles, but you could have a proper manual if you wanted. We did want. Very much.
