This is basically a brand-new original Lamborghini Countach
It’s a Countach 25th Anniversary Edition with just 154 miles on the clock, and it’s about to fetch a fortune…
Can you honestly imagine taking delivery of your new Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary Edition in 1990 and literally never driving it? Well, that’s pretty much what the first owner of the car you see above did, and the same could be said for every other owner in the poor thing’s 33-year life.
Because this particular Countach has just 248km (154 miles) on its clock, having been first delivered to a Detroit-based physician from the Clark Motor Company of Heath on 5 February 1990. At that point it already had 82 miles on it, so it’s only managed a further 72 in the past three decades. It’s even wearing its original Pirelli P Zero tyres. This makes us sad.
So, rich folk of the world – here is our call to action. Please someone buy this metallic black piece of automotive art and return it to the moving, driving V12-engined supercar that it was born to be. It’s set to go under the hammer at RM Sotheby’s Phoenix auction in the next week or so and the estimate is somewhere between £600,000 and £800,000.
Yes it’ll lose a load of its value the first time that the odometer turns, but there can’t be many better ways to spend your hard-earned cash…
