The Audi R8 V10 Decennium celebrates ten years of V10 R8s
Limited edition models gets bronze wheels and matte paint
We think ten years of the naturally-aspirated, V10-engined Audi R8 is something worth celebrating. So does Audi, hence the new R8 V10 ‘Decennium’ - an ode to one full decade of its all-wheel drive, ten-cylinder supercar.
The special edition is limited to 222 cars, with ten (appropriately) coming to the UK - all Coupes. The paint is Daytona Grey with a matte finish - the 20-inch wheels and the V10’s intake manifold are both finished in bronze, while the front spoiler, side sills and the diffuser are gloss black, and the mirror housings carbon fibre. Inside it’s all-black, with gloss carbon trim, diamond-pattern seats with contrast stitching in copper and an Alcantara steering wheel. And naturally there are many Decennium - which means ‘decade’ in Latin - badges dotted throughout.
Mechanically-speaking, the Decennium is unchanged from the regular R8 V10 Plus. That means 612bhp and 428lb ft from the 5.2-litre N/A V10, giving 0-62mph in 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 205mph. You can read our full review by clicking on these words.
The Decannium costs £171,700 - some £30K more than a normal V10 Plus. Deliveries start later this month, and you can order one now. But be quick, because despite the hefty premium, with only ten available these things won’t hang around for long.
