Gallery: meet the supercars of Monaco

Monaco is the second smallest country in the world, but it must boast the highest supercar-to-human ratio on the planet.

Which may be thanks to the fantastic roads that surround the city, or it may be thanks to the dearth of personal income tax. Either way, you'd be hard pressed to find more exotic metal in one place. With the possible exception of London's swankier boroughs.

Provided you don't get distracted by the upgraded women or stop to laugh at every pair of terrible sunglasses, it's quite a lot easier to get around than our fine capital. You can walk from one end of the country to the other in about an hour. Which is exactly the job we tasked our intrepid supercar paparazzo, Alex Penfold, before this weekend's race.
