The AMG GT is nearly here

Published: 08 Sep 2014

We're not going to lie; we're a little bit excited about the AMG GT - the all-new sports car developed from the ground up by Mercedes-Benz's skunkworks division.

We've seen its silhouette. Heard its all-new 4.0-litre bi-turbo, dry-sumped V8. We've even sat in the passenger seat and felt 510bhp and 479 torques flat out. Problem is, we still haven't seen it. Yet...

Because if you pop back tomorrow at 19:30 GMT we'll have the full low-down on the car - including pictures.

In the meantime, thanks to screenshots from upcoming PS4-only videogame Driveclub, we've got a pretty good idea of what it'll look like. Well, from the rear. And yes, it does look good going sideways.

You'll be able to drive the car for yourself (via a wireless controller, buttons and thumb sticks) when the game is out on October 7 in North America, October 8 in Europe and October 10 in the UK.

Can't wait until then? Then watch AMGs latest teaser below, and set your alarm clocks for 19:30 GMT tomorrow to get the news as soon as it's unveiled, here on TG.com.
