Video: Stig the sideways chauffeur

When Top Gear mag's Associate Editor, Tom Ford, had to get to a destination quickly there was only one man for the job: Aloysius Parker. Unfortunately the Noel Gallagher look-alike was a) busy and b) a puppet, so we had to settle for the next best thing: The Stig.

Equally unfortunately, our Tame Racing Driver has never been to chauffeur school, and his grasp of speed is a bit like switching from tortoise to hare mode on a lawnmower.

So when Stiggy was instructed to "make progress" things got a bit quick. And smoky. So quick in fact, that poor Tom was pinned to the side windows, magically trying to make a sick back out of thin air while being strangled by the seatbelt pretensions.

But did he get to his appointment on time? "Yus, M'Lady".
