We’re big fans of racing Lamborghinis here at Top Gear, as we revealed with Reiter Engineering’s track-ready LP560 last week.

And now Reiter has come up with this, the LP 670 R-SV, which has us in a bit of a sweat.

The aggressive beast, based on a Lamborghini Murcielago, was unveiled at the 24 hours of Spa, and is being targeted at an entry to the 2010 FIA GT1 championships.

Under the complete carbon fibre outer skin lies a 6.5-litre V12 producing 670bhp, all weighing in at a mere 1,150kg.

But looking at that rear shot, we just want to hear the thing.

The FIA only allows six car brands to be nominated for the GT1 series, so fingers crossed these guys get in.
