Photo of the day: the Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder
Lamborghini could show us a roofless Huracan next month. Feed your anticipation with an atmospheric shot of its forebear
The Lamborghini Huracan has been around for over a year, so as the circle of life dictates, it should soon be time for the Italians to artfully take their angle-grinder to its roof.
We could see the Huracan Spyder at next month’s Frankfurt motor show, which would make it a perfectly timed and somewhat extravagant riposte to Ferrari’s 488 Spider. It would also create quite the quandary for those seeking a 600bhp Italian sports car. Life can be hard sometimes.
While we know nothing concrete yet, it seems an apt time to look at the car it replaces, the Gallardo Spyder. Okay, so it’s not the most hardcore of Lambos, but we’d wager it’s one of the most amiable to own.
Not least when it’s parked up in a lavish seaside resort, just like the one above. We can only imagine how good life tastes as you sit looking back at it with an evening drink, after a day of squiggling your way to sea from the mountains above…
