Photo of the day: a Dodge Viper melting its tyres
It's World Snake Day. Yep, really. So here's a dangerous Viper doing its thing
If it’s escaped your attention, today is World Snake Day. Yes, really. A day designed to make us drop our prejudices of snakes being creepy and scary, and instead laud the carnivorous reptiles for their mystique, diversity and general, um, snakiness.
We’re a car website, though, so we’re celebrating World Snake Day the only way we know how. With a Dodge Viper – named after one of the more venomous snakes, of course – displaying its dislike for tyres via a whacking great burnout.
Happy Snake Day, everyone!
