Photo of the day: Chris Evans, The Stig and a LaFerrari

CarFest South has kicked off with a very special guest. Yep, we vacuum packed our tame racing driver and sent him off to give Chris Evans a helping hand for his annual motoring event.

CarFest, don’t forget, is Chris’s car-themed mega-show that’s chock-full of motors, food, live music, family entertainment and, um, some skids. Ahead of the show, Stig was on hand to give passenger laps in a Ferrari Enzo at Thruxton circuit to some very lucky people. The full show kicks off today, running through to Sunday, and takes place at Laverstoke Park Farm in Hampshire.

It’s all for a good cause, too; a minimum of 25 per cent of the price of each ticket will go to Children in Need, with last year’s total topping £1.5m donated to the charity.
