Citroen C1 news - Citroen builds Lacoste city car - 2010

Citroen thoroughly enjoys slapping us with its big, lemon-fresh hand of quirk, and has put the funky smackdown on us once more with this, the Lacoste Concept.

Set for Paris, this one-off model is - as the name suggests - a car with some Lacoste stuff plastered on it, celebrating the famous French fashion line.

It has tennis-net wheels! The seats are trimmed like Polo shirts! It has a big 'T' hood, because 'T' stands for Tennis, right?

Apparently, the Lacoste Concept is powered by a three-cylinder petrol engine, which is more than enough to power something of this size and weight, meaning the concept weighs about the same as a leather shoe. Or flip-flop.
