Nissan 370Z Yellow news - Gold rush - 2009
Didn't take long for the marketing men to get their hands on the Nissan 370Z, did it? And look what they've done - painted it bright yellow and given it some naff graphics. It's called the 370Z Yellow (really?) and the paint job isn't the only extra.
Inside, you get all the bits and bobs from the top-whack GT spec, so that's black leather and suede, integrated satnav, plus some special ‘illuminated entry plates' and a set of branded mats. To round things off, the car rides on 19-inch forged alloys.
Nissan reckons the Yellow pays homage to its 370Z GT4 car. We're not so sure. Those graphics remind us of something Porsche might plaster down the flanks of a Carrera, or of something a chav might purchase from Halfords.
At least you can forget about the stickers once your inside. The 370Z is one of our favourite cars of the year so far, with its meaty, mechanical V6 and its brilliant synchro-rev gearbox.
The Yellow will be available from September and will cost £31,650 for a manual (that's the one to go for) or £33,050 for the auto. But be quick - only limited numbers will be available. Oh, and it's for the UK only, so apologies to international readers. It's ours. Sorry.
