Paramount is making a documentary about Paul Walker
Late Fast and Furious star will be subject of upcoming film
Paramount Network has announced that it will produce a new documentary covering the life and tragic death of Fast and Furious star Paul Walker.
Award-winning filmmaker Derik Murray will direct the film about Walker – who lost his life in a car accident in 2013 – and we’re told it'll feature interviews with Walker’s “most cherished” cast-mates and friends “who knew him best”.
It’ll cover parts of Walker’s life that few recognised, says Paramount, including his “passion for the world’s oceans and marine life”, along with helping rebuild Haiti after the devastating earthquake.
And of course, it’ll detail his film career; Walker was and remains a central figure in the blockbuster Fast and Furious franchise. He was also a hugely committed petrolhead, owning many of the franchise’s key hero cars.
We’ll find out more details on the documentary in the coming months.
