DB10 and C-X75 star in new Spectre trailer

Glimpse at upcoming Bond film shows Aston, Jaguar and flamethrowers. Oh yes

Published: 11 Jun 2015

This is a new trailer for the upcoming James Bond movie, Spectre. It stars Aston Martin's gorgeous new DB10, a Jaguar C-X75, some flamethrowers, a few explosions, some shouting, and additional fire.

Do we need to explain any more? Fine. Daniel Craig resumes his role as the world's greatest not-so-secret agent, 007, taking on shadowy group Spectre. It also features the excellent Christoph Waltz, Ralph Fiennes as M, Monica Belluci and MMA star Dave Bautista as the superbly named 'Mr Hinx'.

Oh, and the 'first cast member' announced - and for our purposes, the most important - was of course, the gorgeous, limited edition DB10.

Bond's Aston DB10: the real story

The Aston Martin DB10 was created specifically for Spectre, with the aim of becoming "the poster car for every boy who watches James Bond for the first time," according to the film's Oscar-winning director Sam Mendes.

Underneath its all Vantage, stretched a bit, and packing a 4.7-litre V8 together with "something there you won't expect", says Aston Martin design chief Marek Reichman. The design is said to hark back to the philosophy of the original Bond film car, the Aston DB5.

"It's a predator," Reichman told us of the DB10's design aesthetic. "I wanted this car to look like a hunter."

Judging by the clip above, which features the DB10 up against Jaguar's stunning C-X75 hypercar, it looks like it's the hunted...

DB10 vs C-X75: it's the Bond car chase

If you're not imploding with excitement at the thought of this epic on-screen car chase, you may need to check your vitals. Roll on November.
