Aston's DB10 spotted in Rome

Published: 24 Feb 2015

We can't tell you much about the plot of the new Bond film, mostly because we've no idea what happens. What we can reveal is this: a car chase with some baddies will happen in Rome.

In the style of talented super-spy, we gathered this intelligence by going on the internet and finding a video. It shows several Aston DB10s being unloaded off a lorry in the Italian capital and doing some maneuvering. We then pieced these together with some pap shots that showed Daniel Craig driving around a bit.

Other spy shots show an orange Jag C-X75 on set, which we know will star alongside the Aston and most likely be driven by a villain of some sort. Sounds like the recipe for a decent chase, eh?

Or maybe not just yet, because the Times reports that the Roman roads were so smashed-up, the stunt teams couldn't get up to proper speeds. It's claimed that producers paid to have them repaired, but despite the work they could still only do 40mph or thereabouts.

Maybe they should swap the supercars for one of the film's Big Foot Defenders. The fat tyres won't be troubled by a few pesky potholes...

"It's a predator. I wanted this car to look like a hunter"... TG.com speaks to Aston on the new DB10
