If a Mohs scale of mineral hardness for gentleman-vegetables existed, rally drivers would be at the nanodiamond end of the spectrum.

With little more than a confident right foot and a mate shouting directions at them, these courageous men and women are able to drive flat-out across unstable and slippery terrain at a stupid turn of pace. But sometimes things go wrong. Actually, things go wrong quite a lot. We know, we've done it. 

But since the bobble hat brigade now hold camera phones in their hands instead of a flask of Bovril, there's nowhere to hide for drivers who get things a bit wrong. And, to save yourself falling into an inescapable YouTube 'related videos' hole, someone has thankfully compiled some of the weirdest, wonderful and damn right scary rally mishaps of the last year.
