Nearly five months on from Timo Bernhard, Brendon Hartley and Mark Webber’s successful World Endurance Championship campaign with Porsche, the series returns for a brand new season this weekend.
Silverstone plays host to the first race of the year, with eight more dates to follow on the calendar over the course of the year.
23 teams, 34 cars and 96 drivers will contest the four categories – LMP1, LMP2, LMGTE Pro and LMGTE Am – during the six-hour race this Sunday, and all of them will be hoping for good pace as well impeccable reliability to get them to the finish line.
