So, who fancies an £88k F1 simulator?

Published: 23 Oct 2012

While browsing aimlessly today on TG.com we discovered that Costco, famous for its bulk-buy crisps and multipacks of no-name toilet roll, has expanded into the lucrative market of, erm, top-end F1 simulators, not dissimilar to the legendary iWay's...

Yep. Really. As in actually, honestly really. The wholesale warehouse, which offers enormous amounts of stuff for unenormous prices (unofficial tagline) is now selling an £89,999.89 full size composite Formula 1 racing car simulator.

As well as a set of genuine Pirelli F1-style "travel" tyres, it has three 23-inch screens, a quick-release steering wheel, AP Racing or Brembo brake calipers, magnesium wheels, full aero, a 5.1 digital speaker system and an in-built PC to run your racing games.

According to Costco's website, "Due to the nature of this product you cannot ‘Add to Basket' & checkout from this page." Which, we can only presume, means you won't find one between the Walkers and bog roll at your local store.

What next, TopGear.commers? McLaren MP4-27s at Morrisons?
