For sale: Sultan's Ferrari F50

Published: 02 Aug 2010

You only need one kidney right? Good. Sell the other one, because a rare Ferrari F50 is up for grabs...one previously owned by the Sultan of Brunei.

The blood-red monster you see above was built specially for Captain Cash and is one of only 349 examples made in the world, originally conceived and designed as a Formula 1 car for the road.

Which, if you buy it, means you must pull over immediately should another Faster-Than-You F50 appear in your rear-view mirror driven by someone who enjoys the work of the Teletubbies and is partial to eating the odd crayon.

Still, if you are actually handy behind the wheel, the F50 is quite a bit of kit. It kicks out 513bhp from a 4.7-litre V12 engine, will do the 0-60mph dash in 3.7s and hit a top speed of 202mph.

This one has done just 5,000 miles - probably because the Sultan owns over 5,000 cars and forgot he had one. No word on price, but brand new, the F50 cost around £330,000.

Interested? Head over - kidney in hand - to Jameslist.com.
