You can now get up to 900bhp from your BMW M5 CS

German tuner G-Power goes bonkers with BMW’s most powerful M car ever

Published: 07 Jan 2022

Not content with your new BMW M5 CS being the most powerful M car ever built? Think 626bhp, 553lb ft of torque and 0-62mph in 2.9 seconds is a little sluggish? You’ll be needing a trip to German tuner G-Power…

Its latest development means you can now bump the power of your CS up to 900bhp, with 774lb ft of torque as an added bonus. Good grief.

The GP-900 upgrade apparently includes updated turbos, forged engine internals, sports downpipes and a rather sinister-sounding DeepTone exhaust system.

There’s no word on what the monumental power does to the 0-62mph time, but G-Power does say that you’ll be limited to a top speed of 207mph. Not bad going, that. If you don’t fancy the full 900bhp, though, there are also GP-700, GP-740, GP-780 and GP-820 kits, each with a corresponding amount of metric horsepower.

Looks like G-Power will tone down the gold accents on your CS if you ask them nicely too, and we’re rather big fans of both of those 21-inch wheel sets. What do you think, Internet?
