What do you make of Liberty Walk’s £50k Urus bodykit?

Japanese purveyor of all things low takes on Lamborghini’s high-riding SUV

Published: 11 Jul 2022

Liberty Walk founder Wataru Kato has announced his first new bodykit of 2022, and it looks like the controversial Japanese tuner is set to take a momentary break from slamming supercars

That’s because this is Liberty Walk’s take on the Lamborghini Urus, and Kato has already admitted on Instagram that his firm will make more SUV kits.

This particular one – with its wide arches, bewinged rear and antisocially sharp front end – will be unveiled in the flesh at November’s SEMA show in Las Vegas. Order books are already open for those of you that own a standard Urus though.

Price? Well, it’s not cheap. If you want the widebody kit plus the vented bonnet made from fibre-reinforced plastic it’ll set you back $36,300 (around £30,000), but if you’d rather the whole thing was carbon fibre – well, that’ll be nearly £50,000. Yikes.
