Want a mean-looking, triple V10-engined Brabus?
If so, welcome to the 'Black Ops'… speedboat
Ahoy there, jet-set lifestyle types. Searching for a means of crossing the Mediterranean to sample the finest coastal restaurants around? The new ‘Black Ops’ variant of the Brabus Shadow Signature series may be of interest to you.
Not only is it christened after one of the best Call of Duty games ever, but the powertrain is… huge. It’s a trio of 5.7-litre V10s developing a joint 1,184bhp, allowing for a soft cruise of 40 knots (46mph) and a hair-destroying top speed of 55 knots (63mph).
And you’ll be doing your hair-destroying in a really rather lovely open cockpit cabin, which includes tech like autopilot, night vision and a Skyhook (essentially a robotised anchor). There are a pair of 16in multifunction displays with an optional 9in helm screen available, plus an in-built audio system, dimmable LED lights and a dual electric sunroof. Proper dandy and all.
Adding some style to that substance is Graphite-finished upholstery on the leather seats, with plenty of carbon fibre trim to match up with the red accents and black exterior paintwork. Brabus will even throw in a bunch of supplementary items if you ask (and pay) nicely, like roof racks and waterski frames. Because if you're buying a tri-V10-engined Brabus superboat called 'Black Ops', you really need waterski frames.
Pricing is yet to be confirmed, but given Brabus charges £17k for electric surfboards, we’ll leave you to do the guess work.
