Uwe Gemballa found dead

The former boss of Porsche tuning company Gemballa has been found murdered.

Uwe Gemballa was reportedly found shot in the head with his hands tied behind his back and his body wrapped in plastic. He had been missing since February this year.

A South African police spokesman said: "We have found the body of Gemballa and we're now investigating the circumstances around his death. A murder docket has been opened."

Uwe Gemballa founded the company in 1981, now run by Andreas Schwarz, which is situated less than 12 miles from Porsche's Stuttgart plant. It was awarded 'No 1 Porsche tuner' by magazine Auto Motor und Sport, and is made up of just 20 'hand-picked specialists'. The company is known to supply Arab royalty and movie stars.
