Toyota reckons the Supra A90 Final Edition is worth €142,800
The one with the wing has gone on sale in Europe. And it really ain’t cheap
Remember the ‘Final Edition’ of the A90 Supra Toyota showed us at the end of last year? Yep, the black one with the swan-neck rear wing. Well, it has just popped up on the German configurator, and if you want one of the 300 cars available worldwide, you’ll have to pay a hefty premium for it.
Because yes, the Final Edition costs €142,800. Yikes. To put that into context, a 992.2 Porsche 911 Carrera costs €128,700 in Germany.
Of course, Toyota has upped power from 335bhp to 429bhp for this Final Edition, and top speed has risen to 168mph as a result. There’s now 420lb ft of torque too, plus adjustable KW suspension from the Supra GT4 race car.
For the cash, you also get larger Brembo brakes, an Akrapovic exhaust, Recaro bucket seats, that aero pack, tweaked steering and a six-speed manual gearbox. You won’t need to worry over what spec to choose, because you can have any colour as long as it’s matte black and the interior is only available with a red driver’s seat and black for the passenger. You do get to choose between 19in and 20in wheels, though.
It doesn’t look like you’ll be able to buy the Final Edition in the UK, with all GR Supras currently unavailable to order on our shores. Shame. Still, what do we reckon to the Final Edition and its punchy price tag - an acceptable way to bow out?
